History

Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge #226 has served our community since 1886.

Our meetings are held in our historic Building. The building had to be
completely remodeled after a fire caused extensive damage in 2003.

Our lodge members are actively involved with community events in Caro,
Kingston, Mayville and the surrounding area.

We believe family, community, charity and brotherly love are the most
important aspects of our fraternity and especially our local Lodge. Our
members are always ready to assist members from other area lodges.

Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge #226 is blessed to have a wide variety
of Masonic organizations represented in our membership rolls. Members
belong to the Job's Daughters, Knights Templar, Order Of Eastern Star,
Royal Arch, Scottish Rite, Shriners & Shriners Car Club, and York Rite.

Our lodge is active in local youth, education, & community programs.
We actively participate "hands on" in the local Adopt-A-Highway program.

We have a college Scholarship Program for youth education in our area.
Our fund raising chicken barbeque is held on the 3rd Friday in June.

We support the Boy Scouts & community organizations helping our youth.
Our Honors and Achievement night is held on the 3rd Saturday in August.

For 90+ years, we have held our Washington's Birthday celebration dinner!
